Sewing for Kids is a four class session for kids age 8+. Starting with the basics on sewing machine operation, kids learn to sew and create projects utilizing the skills their acquired skills.

Work on the project of your choice at your own pace while learning essential skills like measuring, choosing the right pattern, reading the pattern envelope, selecting fabrics and notions, laying out and cutting patterns, and using a sewing machine to create your masterpiece. With personalized guidance, you’ll be well on your way to crafting a stunning garment!

Come to this three Saturdays class to make a unique “Convergence” Quilt. The classes start on January 25 and run three consecutive Saturdays (Jan. 25, Feb. 1, and 8). Completed in three parts, the first class will cover piecing, the second will be on quilting, and the third will cover finishing including binding, sleeves, and labels.

You can create beautiful designs over the surface of your quilt while not having to rotate it. Learn how to stitch swirls, loops, florals, and webbing while adding texture and depth to your quilts. Stencils will also be used!

Rulers in the morning: Learn how to execute quilting designs with basic straight line and circle rulers. Take a 30 minute break and then continue with Free-Motion in the afternoon.

In this class, you will learn how to execute quilting designs with basic straight line and circle rulers. This is a skill-building class; ongoing classes will utilize specialty shapes like clamshells, waves, and feathers. There are so many shapes to explore!
