Beginning Sewing: Five Sundays

Ready to bring your sewing dreams to life? Whether you are brand new to sewing, haven’t touched a sewing machine in years, or just need a refresher course, this is the perfect class. Work on the project or your choice at your own pace while learning essential skills like measuring, choosing the right pattern, reading the pattern envelope, selecting fabrics and notions, laying out and cutting patterns, and using a sewing machine to create your masterpiece. With personalized guidance, you’ll be well on your way to crafting a stunning garment! (If you really let your imagination run wild, you might need more than just the four sessions to finish!)

Skill Level: Beginner, age 10 and over

Students aged 10 - 12 will make either pajama shorts or pants for their first project. Students aged 13 and up may select any project they choose.

  • February Session: Sundays, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Price: $200

Project costs (such as fabric, thread, etc.) are extra. Notions, such as scissors, rulers, cutting mats, etc. will also be provided and shared by the class. Bring your own machine or you may use one of ours.

Tim is absolutely extraordinary in his knowledge of sewing, knitting, crocheting, weaving, and the list goes on! He is creative, patient, and great fun.
