We have yarn!

Sew Santa Barbara has teamed up with Tim Cardy, former owner of Cardigans knit shop to create “Yarn Santa Barbara,” an in-store boutique bringing our customers an expanded selection of products along with an expert touch. With Yarn Santa Barbara, we are excited to offer a diverse range of high-quality yarns, tools, and patterns, catering to both seasoned knitters, crocheters and weavers and those just starting their crafting journey. Tim's passion for textiles and dedication to crafting excellence align perfectly with our mission at Sew Santa Barbara, enhancing our community's creative spirit.

Visit us to explore this new venture and discover the endless possibilities of sewing and knitting, all under one welcoming roof. And watch for even more changes as we expand, grow and refine the Sew Santa Barbara inventory.

Classes

Our new classroom is now fully operational, and while there’s still a bit more to be done, we couldn’t be more excited! The space features two design walls that invite creativity, along with two versatile sit/stand cutting tables that adjust to your needs. We've added sturdy tables and incredibly comfortable chairs from Horn Of America to ensure your comfort during long sewing sessions.

Coming soon, we’re planning to introduce a third design wall, a spacious cutting/layout table, and improved storage solutions to keep all supplies organized and within reach. With heating and air conditioning in place, this classroom is designed to be your favorite sewing retreat. You won’t want to leave!
